You knew it as Brazil Barreiro, now more accurately named Brazil Machado.
Notes from the Roaster
Small family-run farms all bring their harvest to the central mill town of Machado in southern Minas Gerais. Grown in the high mountains, coffee grown in this area is significantly different from the nutty, smooth coffees grown in Cerrado. It has both more body and a piquant, refreshing acidity. Its unique qualities have made it one of our favorite single origin cups.
